Grab a coffee and join us as we create placemats for Table on Delk.
The Table on Delk is a 100% volunteer-run, faith-based grassroots non-profit ministry founded in January 2017 by Scott and Tina Williford. Located in the Marietta and northwest Atlanta area, it focuses on supporting women, children, and youth living in local motels along the Delk Road corridor who are currently or at risk of being sexually exploited or subjected to human trafficking.
Their placemats have drawings, a Bible verse, and/or positive words that will be encouraging and uplifting to the person using it. They go through about 200 placemats each week so any that are created will be a blessing to their guests. Some of their placemats are works of art, others are dots and lines with a Bible verse.
Supplies will be provided and the host will deliver the placemats the following week.
Both men & women are welcome to participate! Come and make a difference!
